Hi babes! Have your earrings lost their sparkle in the summer sunlight? Your necklaces looking a little.. well, gross? Do you want to get your diamond rings dazzling again?
Obviously, the more you rock your rocks & flaunt your jewelry pieces, the more worn theyβll look. Whether theyβre covered in makeup, sweat, or any of the other elements.. here is a quick trick to get them twinkling again without having them professionally cleaned!
**if youβre unsure of whether your jewelry will tarnish with this method, check with your jeweler or the manufacturer FIRST. I do this weekly with my engagement ring which is a white gold band & a diamond with no issues, but I canβt speak for all jewelry types.

Hereβs what youβll need:
β’ Dawn Dish Soap * thatβs right, good olβ Dawn. The same stuff you use to wash your forks.
β’ An old bowl or cup
β’ Warm water
Place your jewelry into the bottom of the bowl/cup
Pour in some Dawn Dish Soap.
Fill it up with warm water.
Place the bowl/cup somewhere no one will mistake it as an old one & spill it out (because then youβre going to have a problem trying to locate your ring before it goes completely down the sink drain).
Depending on how dirty your jewelry is, leave it in the bowl for at least ten minutes.
Rinse it off, and then either let it air dry or use a towel to dry it off.
Then watch that shit fucking SPARKLE β¨
Hereβs a before & after of my ring just after washing it ONCE with Dawn. Again, I actively do this once a week; my ring hasnβt really gotten the chance to build much crap up on it, but you can still tell the difference. If this doesn’t get your diamond rings dazzling again, you’re LYING.
Try it out & let me know how it works! πβ¨π
