It’s May, it’s getting warmer outside, things are growing, my allergies are ruining my life, people are finally emerging from their homes after a long winter & even longer pandemic.. & you know what this means.
It’s wedding attendee season!
I’m sure you’ve all received your first save-the-date or full blown invitation in your mailboxes by now, & with wedding RSVPs comes an excuse to go shopping! (as if we needed an excuse)
One problem I’ve run into with the amount of weddings I’ve attended over the past few years is finding dresses that fit the season while simultaneously not spending a shit ton of money. Because let’s face it, if you buy a new dress for every single wedding/special occasion you attend, you’re gonna go broke very quickly.
..unless you know the right places to shop, that is.
This one works well because we’re in that weird time of the year where you’re sweating during the day but freezing to death at night.
I wore this one to a friend’s wedding back in October. Fashion Nova is an awesome dress resource for really any occasion – wedding, casual outing, date night, etc. Their prices are amazing too, & despite the insane shipping delays we’ve all experienced during 2020, they’ve been remarkably punctual.
…I’m a frequent shopper on their site, obviously. I actually haven’t worn this dress anywhere yet but I couldn’t pass it up. I’m attracted to sparkly things & I’m a little on the extra side. 🤷🏼♀️ btw, please forgive the excessive fluorescents in the filter above – I’m so pale that I actually blended in with the dress, this was the only way for me to accentuate the detail for all y’all to see. (Homegirl needs a tan.)
