April showers bring May muhfuckin’ flowers. 🌻 that is how the saying goes, right?
Temperatures hit high 70s today & I pretty much ripped my sweatpants off in a fit off joy in exchange for shorts. I traded in the basic tops I’ve been living in since the pandemic started & threw on some bright colors & floral prints, & gleefully high-tailed it outdoors.. for all of an hour before I had to escape back indoors because the pollen count was at a near murderous level.

I took all this nice weather & wearing less clothing as a sign to dig up the ol’ summer wardrobe & get it ready. Since my memory has been going from bad to pretty much terrible, it’s almost like an unexpected shopping trip because as I rip through the storage boxes I’m completely taken aback by what’s in there, although I packed it a year ago. It’s the little things in life that spark happiness, ladies.
I’m happy with the pops of color I’m adding to my wardrobe just by getting my summer stuff unpacked. Now, I just need to add a tan. 💋
